The 10-ton Front Gripping Jack is a compact and reliable double-acting hydraulic jack designed for pre-stressing 15.2mm and 18.0mm strands and single-strand rock anchors in underground mining environments. With a 120kN capacity, this jack delivers consistent, precise performance for secure tendon support and tensioning applications.

How it works

This jack is engineered for efficiency—automatically gripping and releasing the strand at the start and finish of the pre-stressing process. To achieve proper tensioning, the protruding strand must be at least 250mm long, allowing the front gripping wedges to engage effectively.

Once the tensioning is complete, any excess strand can be trimmed using a cropper. For secure anchor wedge lock-off, the jack blocks the free movement of the wedges during stressing, ensuring a firm and lasting hold.

The 10T Nano Jack operates seamlessly with standard hydraulic power units, including Air or Hand Pumps capable of delivering pressures up to 40MPa. Its robust construction ensures dependable performance and low maintenance requirements, making it a reliable solution for on-site tensioning tasks.
