The 25-ton Front Gripping Jach is a reliable double-acting hydraulic jack designed for pre-stressing 15.2mm and 18.0mm strands and single-strand rock anchors in underground mining environments. With a 120kN capacity, this jack delivers consistent, precise performance for secure tendon support and tensioning applications.

How it works

This jack is engineered for efficiency—automatically gripping and releasing the strand at the start and finish of the pre-stressing process. To achieve proper tensioning, the protruding strand must be at least 250mm long, allowing the front gripping wedges to engage effectively.

Once the tensioning is complete, any excess strand can be trimmed using a cropper. For secure anchor wedge lock-off, the jack blocks the free movement of the wedges during stressing, ensuring a firm and lasting hold.

POWER & COMPATIBILITY

The Air Pump or Hand Pump can be used to power the jack. These units come equipped with three-position, four-way valves and can deliver hydraulic oil at pressures up to 60MPa, ensuring smooth and controlled operation in all conditions.
